The Grand tour of Greenland with time to experience:

- Beautiful and fertile South Greenland

- The capital of Nuuk

- Ilulissat, town of Icebergs

Narsaq

Narsaq (meaning The Plain in Greenlandic) is a charming town known for its colourful wooden houses, where modern living is mixed with ancient traditions. It is an area of great geological and historic interest; several interesting minerals can be found only a short hike from the town in the Kvanefjæld area as well as the Viking ruins of Dyrnæs and the Landnamsgård which are among the oldest Viking ruins found in South Greenland dating back to AD 1000.

Nuuk

Nuuk is the northernmost as well as the smallest capital in the world – though still the largest and oldest city in Greenland with just over 16,000 inhabitants.

Nuuk has plenty to offer visitors: from high quality art and craft work, a shopping centre, to the Greenland National Museum which houses a wonderful collection of artifacts and exhibits related to Greenland's archaeology, history, art, and handicrafts, as well as the famous Qilakitsoq mummies. Not to be missed is the architectural marvel of Katuaq, the cultural centre of which the design was inspired by the waves of the northern lights, icebergs and the play of light on ice and snow.

Ilulissat

The town of Icebergs and the most modern town in the Disko Bay area – man is still outnumbered by the huskies, and traces of 4000-year old Inuit settlements are found close to town. Join us on tours to small and isolated settlements where the local population is still dependent on hunting and fishing - and don't miss the UNESCO designated Ilulissat Ice Fjord with its gigantic icebergs.
