This package includes a boat trip from Balestrand and goes to Fjærland. The Fjærlandsfjord is beautiful and majestic, surrounded by snowy mountain peaks. The fjord has a light green colour because of the meltwater from the glacier that pours out into the fjord. From the boat you have a wonderful view towards the glacier plateau of the Jostedalsbreen. From the quay in Mundal, Fjærland, the glacier bus takes you to the foot of the glacier. After in Fjaerland really enjoy the nature and visit to this Norwegian Booktown. Return to Balestrand by boat, in the afternoon .

Itinerary

Overnight at Opera Hotel

Depart on morning scenic train to Myrdal and change to famous Flam Mountain Railway down to Fjord Land. Cruise on Sogne Fjord to Balestrand. Dinner and overnight for two nights at Kvikne's Hotel. Upgrade to the traditional building with fjordview. Please inquire about extra cost.

Day excursion to Fjaerland and the Glacier.

Overnight and dinner in Balestrand.

Morning or afternoon cruise on the Sogne Fjord to Bergen. Overnight at Hotel Augustin.
