TALLINN – ESTONIA’S MEDIEVAL CAPITAL

Kilometers of winding cobblestone streets, red roofs, watchtowers in the Old City walls that surrounds the Old Town, a whole storybook of medieval houses - that’s all Tallinn, one of the oldest cities of Northern Europe. This rich medieval town was forgotten for 50 years in the Soviet times and now, more than ever, Tallinn is attracting tourists to discover the spirit of old medieval times.

Don’t miss the Tallinn’s famous Gothic Town Hall and the lively Town Hall square, the heart of the Old City with outdoor cafés, shops and never-ending activity. Wandering on the original medieval street network, discover hidden courtyards, churches, Hanseatic period guild and citizen’s houses.

Arrive Tallinn and transfer to your hotel by private car.

Breakfast, 10.00 – 14.00 Tallinn City Tour including Old Town walking Tour, the walking tour includes Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St. Mary’s Cathedral, onwards along Pikk Street to the Lower Town with Niguliste Church and the Old Town Hall (the oldest in North-Europe), after this a tour of city centre.

Breakfast, 10.00 – 18.00 excursion to Lahemaa National Park, starts at hotel and after one hour driving from city centre offer a possibility to discover Estonia’s most popular nature reserves with its jagged coasts, vast forests, wetlands and many hiking trails with typical Estonian swamp (wetland), main Estonian manors Sagadi, Palmse, Vihula (entrances), some waterfalls as well as fishmen villages, after the optional lunch in traditional Estonian tavern (not included in a price) the tour also takes through romantical forest in Oandu and along the seaside in Käsmu peninsula, return to Tallinn.

Transfer to the airport by private car after breakfast.
