Dear Ulla:  I am writing to thank you once again for all of you help in making our trip to St. Petersbug so successful.  Our guide was superb and so was the driver.  It turned out that the guide you thought we going to have could not do it and Albina Clipikove came out of retirement to take her place.  She was just perfect for us.  Our hotel, the Belvedere Nevsky, was just as you described - a no frills business hotel.  There is no lobby and the rooms were small, but the breakfast was good, the people in the hotel were helpful and kind to us, and it was incredibly well located.  We could walk everywhere.  It turned out that we met some friends at the Hotel Dostoevsky one evening so we got a chance to see it. It was fancier but not as well located as ours.  Our day trips were good and our free day on our own worked out very well.  So thank you from the Gridleys.  I certainly shall recommend you if I get the chance.  Sincerely, Barbara Gridley

My husband & I have taken nine group tours. Your Scandinavia Panorama & Stockhom Tour, July 14-26, 2009 was our tenth tour and one of our best because of our excellent guide, Carol Lindbom.



Carol kept our tour running smoothly. She made the long bus trips seem shorter by sharing her knowledge of Scandinavian history and culture with our group and playing music including everything from Grieg to ABBA. When there was free time in the cities she suggested interesting options and was always available to give us directions. She was charming, helpful and one of the best guides we have ever been with.



We were also pleased with the locations of the hotels, which if not in the center of town, were only a 20 minute walk to the center. We will recommend your tours to our friends.

My wife and I just returned from our trip to Finland and St. Petersburg. We had a great time and the guided tour was excellent. We were picked up on time and taken to all the sites and got to see pretty much everything we wanted to see. The weather was excellent, good restuarants and our tour guide was Tatitiana and she had over 17 years of experience so she was a wealth of information. The hotel was a great suggestion and worked out fine. We walked around the City each afternoon and saw more sights and gardens. The Hermitage was thee best along with Peterhoff , especially the fountain gardens. Catherine's palace was under construction and quite crowded. Stil good but other folks who we talked to said they preferred the other smaller palace (Paul's palace) since it had not been destroyed and rebuilt and had origial pieces as well. Many thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Berniece,
I just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful trip touring the Norvegian fjords and the 4 scandinavian capitals " Scenic Norway with Stockholm, Helsinky and Copendhagen".
The weather was nice and so warm that we didn't need our sweaters or polars that we carried ( I am not complaining) on the contrary I am glad. There was even no rain, perfect.
We had a great guide Anne Marie and an excellent driver Bender.
The group we had was very good and discipline, no one was ever late and evryone get along pretty well.
The hotels were excellent as well as their location.
The buffet we had for breakfast and dinner were uncredible.
I am glad that we did this trip to enjoy the Norvegian fjords.
