Location

By car

Follow the "E6", and exit towards "Moss Sentrum" and follow signs for "Jeløy". After passing the narrow channel you follow the road until there is a white sign for Refsnes Gods, pointing to the right.

For visitors from Vestfold we recommend the ferry between Horten and Moss.

For visitors from the Asker/Bærum/Drammen area, the Hurum-tunnel is a good alternativ compared to going through Oslo.

By car, it is an approximately 50 minutes drive from Oslo (60km). Please note that in the rush-hours you have to add up to 30 minutes.

Weekdays Oslo - Moss between 15,00 and 17,30 hours ( 3pm to 6,30 pm), Moss - Oslo between 7,00 and 9,00 hours (7 am to 9 am)

By air

The closest airport is Oslo Gardermoen. There is an airport bus from the airport to Moss that takes approximately 1,5 hour

By train

There is a 5 minutes taxi drive from the railway station to Refsnes Gods. You can book the taxi at Tel: +47 69 25 35 50

The hotel section of Refsnes Manor is situated in modern side wings and consist of 61 comfortable rooms, all decorated with original Nordic artworks. It is just like spending the night in your own, small gallery wihere in peace and quiet you can have a really close look at the pieces of art.

There are 61 rooms:

17 Single rooms (beds 140 cm)

14 Double rooms with one bed (150cm). These rooms are located at 3rd floor and have parquet floors.

10 Double rooms with twin beds.

14 Superior rooms with Seaview, balcony and bathtub.

6 of these are Family Rooms, with sleeping sofa (120 cm).

2 Family rooms

4 Suites overlooking the garden and the fjord and containing original art by HÃ¥kon Bleken, Frans Widerberg, Jacob Weidemann and Therese Nordtvedt.

All rooms are equipped with shower/bathtub, TV/radio, telephone and minibar. 44 of the rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Public areas

In the hotel you will find a number of lounges and bars adapted to individual requirements and number of participants.

Our out door pool is heated all-year-round. (22 degrees C) and is located next to the sauna.

If you would like to polish you golfing skills without leaving the hotel, you should try the golf simulator at the premises!

The big garden takes you down towards our beach and quay. The garden is an inviting place for play and relaxation. Why not have a picnic or barbeque!

For the enjoyment of guests interested in art, we offer a substantional collection of original paintings by well-known contemporary Norwegian artists. In addition, there are original works by Edward Munch, beautiful sculptures by Nina Sundbye and works by other artists.
