Day 1     Reykjavik
Accommodation: Storm Hotel

Individual transfer by Flybus shuttle bus from Keflavik airport to your accommodation in Reykjavik. You may explore Iceland’s capital city on your own if time allows.

Day 2     Reykjavik - Borgarnes
Accommodation: Icelandair Hamar Hotel
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Head west into Iceland’s diverse landscapes, starting with Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. Continue to Hraunfossar, a beautiful series of waterfalls that pour from lava fields into glacier-fed rivers, followed by nearby Barnafoss, the “Children’s Falls,” where a local legend adds mystery to the rugged scenery. Next, explore Víðgelmir, Iceland’s largest lava cave, on a 1.5-hour tour that reveals the volcanic forces shaping Iceland’s landscape. The cave’s stunning formations and rich mythology offer a fascinating glimpse into Iceland’s fiery origins.

Finally, visit Háafell Farm to meet Iceland’s treasured goat breed, carefully protected since 1989. Day 3     Snaefellsnes Peninsula

Explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, a region of extraordinary beauty featuring a glacier-capped volcano, lava fields, and iconic landmarks. Visit the Búðakirkja black church, set against a striking natural backdrop. Stop at Arnarstapi and Hellnar, where basalt cliffs and trails provide incredible views and photo opportunities. Here, discover Snæfellsjökull, the glacier-capped volcano and national park that inspired Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Continue to Kirkjufell Mountain, one of Iceland’s most photographed sites, and take in the scenery of the surrounding area. For a unique cultural experience, visit s Shark Museum, where the group can learn about traditional shark curing and sample this local delicacy. Day 4     Reykjavik

Day 5     Reykjavik - Reykjanes Peninsula

Start the next day by exploring the unique attractions of the Reykjanes Peninsula, including the geothermal area at Krýsuvík, the iconic Reykjanesviti lighthouse, and the bubbling mud pools at Gunnuhver. We’ll also stop at the Bridge Between Continents, where you can stand between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. This region has seen significant volcanic activity in recent years, including the 2021 Fagradalsfjall eruption and the 2023–2024 Sundhnúkur eruptions, highlighting the area’s dynamic geology. Finish the day with a group soak in the Blue Lagoon, a relaxing and spacious environment.

 
Day 6     Reykjavik

Experience the marvels of ReykjavĂ­k, the Northernmost capital, at a leisurely pace. Stroll along Laugavegur, the charming main shopping street lined with unique boutiques, cozy cafes, and local art galleries. Later in the day, preparations begin for the extraordinary Solar Eclipse. As the moon aligns with the sun, the sky darkens, creating an awe-inspiring display of nature’s power. Special Solar Eclipse glasses will be provided to ensure safe viewing. A telescope set up at a cozy restaurant offers an enhanced perspective of this rare celestial event.
