Kongebrogaarden is designed by the architect MAA Søren Juel and built in 1990. In 1994 and 1998 the hotel was expanded. First with the addition of a a large hall to conferences and special events, then with the addition of 14 suites on the 2nd floor - all with a large balcony with views of both the forest and beach.

Hindsgavl's history goes back to the 12th century, and the manor is surrounded by it's 550.000 square metres of garden, park, meadow and forest. You can still find ruins from the first castle on the top of a 47 feet steep hill, which has a diametre of appr. 200 feet. Hindgavl Manor is now functioning as a luxury hotel/restaurant, but the manor as well as the beautiful park is open to the public.
