My clients, The Felleti, have returned with glowing reports about their trip. FYI- they traveling to Scotland and England after they left Bergen.
Stephanie said all components of the trip, worked like a charm. She absolutely LOVED Balestrand and wished they would have had more time there. I think they arrived late afternoon and left the following late morning. I assume that schedule is based on trains/ferries?
SO- I’m just curious, is it simple just to ask for an additional night in BAlestrand?

We had a great time in Iceland ! It rained for the first several days, but our guide was terrific and made the trip enjoyable. His knowledge was vast, and he had a great sense of humor. Please pass along to his employer that we thought he was a gem!

The trip was fabulous. The hotel locations were in ideal spots and we had great weather the entire time we were there. Didn’t know what to expect with Bergen and Balestrand in Norway but those turned out to be the highlights of the trip. The hotel and the views in Balestrand were unbelievable. Really wouldn’t of changed a thing.

Hi—We are leaving Iceland today and I just wanted you to know that everything went smoothly, the hotels were excellent & we even had three out of five sunny days. Lots of driving, beautiful scenery, spectacular waterfalls and glaciers, hot springs & lots of volcanoes. Our cruise was also good with Norway having wonderful fjords & glaciers. FYI Hotel Husafell & Ranga both good properties with nice restaurants. Ranga had great hot tubs and was convenient to southern Iceland sights. . Frank

Sept 7, 2022 - Iceland self-drive.
We wanted to check in with you to tell you how smoothly everything went with your meticulous travel plans for us on our 2nd trip with Scan Tours.
All hotels were great, the cars were perfect for our needs.
The Storm Hotel location in Reykjavik, was great,… near the wharf and we were able to find parking in the hotel area each day.
It was great visiting familiar areas, and then exploring new ones!
Sooo many new adventures , and meeting people from all over the world.
Enjoyed the geothermal spas and shopping for my two granddaughters.
Thanks for all the time you took to make our trip was enjoyable and amazing.

Iceland arrangements Aug 09-14, 2022
Ulla, I don't know if I gave you a "report" when the Image group returned home.
When I emailed them to welcome them home and to see how how their trip went, David´s immediate reply was "It was FANTASTIC.
Much of what they will remember will be the excursions around Iceland.

Good morning Ulla - Can you please share this with Mette?
Our trip to Norway was wonderful and the hotels and train/ferry trips were beautiful and all went smoothly– We fell in love with Norway- it is a beautiful country!! Thank you so much for making our Norway excursion a success!
We wanted to provide a bit of feedback in an effort to help other travelers
Your local office person – Mette Sjoberg was very helpful and it was so nice that she reached out to us – she was able to give us info on tipping and local restaurants – we had difficulty finding restaurants that had seating for dinner – Mette was able to provide some potential spots (Lofoten was wonderful) and we were able to get reservations – so providing some local restaurant info would be helpful as well as alerting travelers that reservations are needed – Please thank her again for us!
We also found that the Citysightseeing Oslo Hop on Hop off bus was not a good experience - the only narration was thru ear buds that were not clear, stops were not announced and we had to appeal to the other Hop on Hop off company for a ride back to our starting point! We would not recommend that vendor for city tour!
We loved Balestrand, Bergan and the Ferry rides!
