Hi Berniece - we completed the bike trip in Denmark and wanted to tell you that everything came off without a hitch. The bikes were waiting for us in Svenborg, the bikes were of good quality, the hotels were also of good quality and the reservations were made and we checked in without complications. The biking was fabulous! (and we were the only two signed up for that "tour"). Thank you and all those that made our trip an enjoyable one.

We would be interested in receiving information on other bike trips your company is a part of in France and Italy.

All and all this was a good trip. Weather was a bit rainy at times but not terribly cold, just cool. The coldest place was Trondheim about 45 degrees one morning and London was cold on the way there.



My favorite place was Hotel Ulbnvang. It was beautiful and so was all the Fjords. The views from the Hotel Clarion in Bergen was awesome.



The Kvikne (sp), although historic was not up to my standard. In fact, I could not safely get into the old tub shower and did not take a shower there. Glad we only had one night there.



Norway is a beautiful country with beautiful friendly people. The salmon was terrific. Forget the meat!



I would recommend this trip in a heart-beat.

meters! You must research and agree the fare beforehand! However, it worked
out OK for me.

Just a note to let you know that the Norway in a Nutshell itinerary that you worked out for us worked out beautifully! We very much appreciated that the Hotel Thon Opera was so conveniently situated next to the train station and that it had a fantastic breakfast buffet. The early morning train to Myrdal, followed by the Flam railway and cruise to Balestrand were all very beautiful, and the weather was pretty cooperative as well. Food at the Hotel Kvikne was so-so, but the scenery was absolutely spectacular, and we were happy to have a few hours on Monday morning to enjoy sitting in their lovely sitting room before the next leg of the journey started. That second fjord tour was even more beautiful than the first, despite a little rain, and the bus ride through the Stalheim canyon was a total awesome surprise. The train ride from Voss back to Oslo made for a long day but it was comfortable and we appreciated being onboard when heavy rain started!
We really appreciate your efforts to put together perfect little vacation. Thanks so much!

Dear Ulla,
Just wanted to let you know that we had a great vacation including our independent tour of Copenhagen and Norway.
All the vouchers were handed to us at the hotels where we stayed and we had no problems using them. The trains were on time and comfortable. We had no problems finding our seats or finding the trains in any of the stations. The fast ferries were great
All hotels were very easy to find and we had no trouble with any of the arrangements. The personnel in the hotels were very helpful. The buffets were outstanding, especially in Balestrand.
Even the weather was cooperating. We had some light rain when we travelled, but in Copenhagen, Oslo and Bergen we had bright sunshine.
In short, this was a wonderful experience and we want to thank you for making this trip possible. And the scenery was much more impressive in real life than on pictures we saw before the trip.

Hello Ulla...
Have a few minutes to catch up on emails.
We are at the wonderful Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand. Everything about our fjord adventure has been perfect......including the weather!
The scenery is beyond description. The trains and ferries very satisfactory, including the food on the train. Smorgasbord at the hotel last night was the best ever! Scandinavian people are so gracious, polite and helpful.
We couldn't have done this without your assistance. I'll let you know about Bergen. We will take a walking tour around Balestrand this afternoon before boarding the ferry.
Our room at the hotel looks out to the water and mountains. I don't know if you requested water front rooms for us in the original building, but we asked to stay in the older part and our views are breathtaking.
