They loved Copenhagen although it is quite expensive to eat.

We returned last Thursday from a wonderful trip to Scandinavia. The people in the group were very nice and the weather was perfect, though it was hard at first to get use to the never ending sunlight. We enjoyed the fact that we had so much free time so that we could see what we were in interested in. We even took public transportation from and to the airports in Copenhagen and Helsinki and it was very easy to do. Public transportation there is so good and also much cheaper than cabs.

Dear Ulla,
Just a few lines to thank you for all you did to make our Norway trip so great.
Our time in Oslo was wonderful. By staying two nights we were able to sightsee and then be quite rested for the train journey the next day. Glad we stayed at the Bristol, as there was massive road construction right outside the Opera! The Bristol Hotel staff were very helpful, and even delivered my sunglasses to the room after I had left them in a friend's car and he returned them to the hotel!
The Komfort class rail journey to Flam was very enjoyable - I recommend it. Well worth the add-on cost. We loved the Flam railway! Luckily the weather held out, and we were able to enjoy the wonderful scenery.
The Sognefjord speaks for itself, and we were sad to arrive in Balestrand - but only for a second! What a beautiful town, and a fantastic hotel! The food was great, and we enjoyed exploring the town. If people were interested in a glacier trip, they should opt for a two-night stay. However, by taking the afternoon boat on to Bergen, we felt that we had plenty of time to explore the town.
We loved Bergen! A three-night stay wasn't long enough! I felt sorry for the cruise-ship visitors who only had a few hours there. The weather was lovely - perfect for walking, and for the fabulous view from the top of the mountain. Thank you for ordering the weather for us!!!!!!!! Again, the hotel and staff were perfect, and everyone we met was so helpful and (thankfully) English speaking!
The ONLY negative of the whole trip was the one you couldn't control: the COST of everything! Fortunately, we had been warned by friends, so we packed trail mix and granola bars!!
In the light of this, we are very satisfied with the cost of the tour. It now seems even more reasonable than we originally thought. The hotels were top class, the breakfasts and dinner amazing, and the travel well-planned and excellent. Although I had misgivings about a self-guided tour, I would recommend it to anyone because all the travel arrangements were made by you, and the package was at the hotel as agreed. One thing we did for ourselves that I would recommend to other travelers is to get the Rick Steeves guide to Norway. We found it helpful to be prepared before we arrived. It saved us both time and money, and steered us toward many of the most enjoyable sights.
What a long email!! Hope you have time to read it. I will close now and listen to my new favorite composer - Grieg!!

Hi Ulla,
Just wanted you to know that the trip to Norway that you helped me organize “Norway In A Nutshell” went perfectly! They were happy with all parts of the trip and had very nice things to say about the hotels we used. In particular, they were very happy with the Flam Marina Apartment. They said the balcony views were breath taking!
As expected they loved the cog railway and the boat trip to the glaciers.
Their “dessert” after dinner one night up on the roof of the restaurant was a huge hit!
They purchased 2 water colors from an artist who had an art gallery.
Just to end by saying that their grand daughter loved Norway so much she now wants to move there! She is 18!

Ulla - A short note to express our gratitude for a wonderful St. Petersburg "Visa Free Tour" via Scan Tours. Kayta, our guide and host did an excellent job with her portion of the adventure. She is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job. The hotel was perfect and in an excellent location. The nights on the ferry were pleasant and would suggest upgrading to a larger cabin on future voyages.

I wanted to thank you so much for organizing our trip to Estonia for us. The arrangements were seamless, with everything working out "exactly" as planned. The accommodations met our needs, the tour guides were excellent and bus driver incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Once they got to know us and to understand why we were there, they "detoured" the route a couple of times to ensure we saw important things as we travelled from one town to the next and explored the towns my inlaws were born in. The tours, entrance fees, meals, accommodations all connected with no gliches or omissions.
I would highly recommend your company to anyone and want to thank you again for making a very special family event so easy for us.
