also includes Stockholm, the beautiful capital of Sweden, often called the

Itinerary

 
Day 1     Bergen
Accommodation: Clarion Hotel Admiral

Arrival in Bergen according to your own schedule and transfer

on you own to your hotel.

Bergen is Norway’s 2. largest city, known as the capital of the

west and gateway to the fjords. It is a UNESCO World Heritage

city with Bryggen wharf, Mount Fløien and the fish market as

central attractions.

Your tour escort will meet you at 19.50 hrs (before dinner) in the

hotel lobby, where you’ll also meet your fellow travelers.

Dinner and accommodation at Clarion Hotel Admiral, newly

renovated and located in charming old warehouse buildings

that date back to 1904, right in the heart of Bergen near the

harbor.

 
Day 2     Bergen - Flam - Balestrand
Accommodation: Kvikne Hotel
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Drive by private coach to Voss where you’ll board the train for

an excursion on the spectacular FlĂĄm Railway.

From FlĂĄm, departure for a fjord cruise on the narrow and

spectacular Nærøyfjord from to Gudvangen. This area has

been judged one of the most beautiful fjord landscapes in the

world and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Continue by

coach through the Stalheim Canyon and across the Vika

Mountains to Vangsnes, for the short ferry crossing to the

beautiful resort of Balestrand.

Dinner and accommodation at Kvikne’s Hotel, superbly

located on the banks of the fjord and surrounded by

mountains.

 
Day 3     Balestrand
Accommodation: Kvikne Hotel
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Day free in Balestrand, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the

outstanding beauty and nature of the fjords. You may want to spend the morning relaxing on the hotel terrace, breathing in the fresh mountain air and enjoying the spectacular views. We can also recommend a visit to the local aquarium and art gallery, or you may prefer to rent a bike or rowing boat from the hotel, or even go on foot up to thenearest mountains.

Day 4     Balestrand - Fjaerland - Geiranger
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, followed by a scenic tour along

the northern side of the Sogn Fjord to Sogndal. The tour

continues by road to Fjærland, passing under the Jostedal

Glacier. Continue to Olden, then for an excursion in “Troll Cars”

to visit the Briksdal Glacier. Afterwards a typical Norwegian

lunch will be served in sight of the glacier. During the afternoon

the tour continues via Loen and Stryn, to the picturesque village

of Hellesylt. Enjoy a cruise on the Geirangerfjord, one of the

narrowest fjords in Norway, from Hellesylt to Geiranger.

Surrounded by deep blue water and green valleys, you will also

experience magnificent waterfalls such as the "Seven Sisters"

and the "Bridal Veil".

Day 5     Geiranger - Lillehammer - Oslo
Accommodation: Clarion Hotel the Hub
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

After breakfast discover the roads that twist and turn through

one hairpin bend after another to Geiranger Skywalk - Mt.

Dalsnibba - to experience a panoramic view of one of the most

scenically outstanding fjord area on the planet

(weather permitting). Your journey continues across the

rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, well known for its 14th

century stave church. Continue via Lake VĂĄgĂĄ, before

descending the magnificent Gudbrands Valley to the popular

tourist town of Lillehammer. Drive alongside Lake Mjøsa,

Norway’s largest lake, and arrive in Oslo, the capital, situated at

the head of the Oslo Fjord.

Dinner and accommodation at Clarion Hotel The Hub,

centrally located close to the Karl Johan shopping boulevard.

 
Day 6     Oslo - Karlstad - Stockholm
Accommodation: Clarion Sign Hotel
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

The journey continues by coach towards the Swedish border,

crossing into the province of Värmland to arrive in the city of

Karlstad on Lake Vänern. Lunch in Karlstad. After lunch, drive

through a landscape of forests and sparkling lakes to reach the

Swedish capital in the late afternoon.

Day 7     Stockholm
Accommodation: Clarion Sign Hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Discover Stockholm during a 4 hours city sightseeing with a

local guide. Main sights of interest are the old town, the Royal

Palace, the Parliament buildings, the Island of DjurgĂĄrden and

the City Hall (entrance included).

Afternoon free in Stockholm. We can recommend a visit to the

impressive Vasa Museum or one of the popular canal tours.

Accommodation in superior rooms at Clarion Hotel Sign.

Please note that dinner is not included today, but your tour

escort will gladly assist you with table reservations.

 
Day 8     Stockholm - Helsinki
On Board the Silja Serenade and Silja Symphony
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Free in Stockholm. We can recommend the 2 hours boat tour

“Under the Bridges of Stockholm”.

Afternoon coach transfer for embarkation on a luxurious cruise

ferry of the Tallink Silja Line. 4.45pm: Start of your cruise to

Helsinki, sailing slowly through the Stockholm archipelago past

numerous small islands. Buffet dinner on board.

Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins (seaside) with

shower/WC. We recommend bringing an overnight bag for

this cruise, to avoid having to carry suitcases to and from the

cabin

 
Day 9     Helsinki - Stockholm
On Board the Silja Serenade and Silja Symphony
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Enjoy your buffet breakfast, as you sail into Helsinki.

Visit Helsinki in the morning during a 3 hours city sightseeing

with local guide. Sights of interest are the Sibelius Monument

and Park, the Senate Square and the Cathedral (no entrances

included). Afternoon free for shopping or exploring this

bustling city on the Baltic. 5.00pm: Embarkation on Tallink

Silja Line ferry for return cruise to Stockholm. Dinner and

accommodationon board.

 
Day 10     Stockholm
Meals: Breakfast

Buffet breakfast on board and arrive in Stockholm at 9.30am.

For guests on the 9 nights’ tour Bergen - Helsinki –

Stockholm, transfer on their own from the Tallink Silja Line

terminal to Stockholm Arlanda Airport for flight home. To

allow time for disembarkation, transfer to airport (situated

60 km. from Stockholm), security controls and possible

delays, we strongly advise clients not to book flights

departing before 1.00pm.
