Day 1     Oslo

Arrival to Oslo. Transfer to the hotel at your own.

Welcome to Oslo. Start exploring highlights of Norwegian capital: sculptures in Vigeland park, impressive fortress Akershus, The Royal Palace, the best viewpoint of Oslo - Holmenkollen, Bygdøy peninsula with famous Fram and Kontiki museum, The City Hall and have a walk on The Opera House in Oslo.

Day 2     Oslo - Alesund - Andalsnes
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel Start your traveling by taking train from Oslo main station and travel through "the king of the valleys" and experience the Dovrefjell mountain plateau and Norway's biggest lake, Mjøsa. In Dombås you change the train for Rauma Line which has been named Europe's most beautiful railway line. The trip starts in Gudbrandsdalen, goes through mountain villages the journey continues through beautiful Romsdalen valley. From the train you will be able to see also Trollveggen - Europe's highest perpendicular mountain wall. Continue with the bus from Åndalsnes to Ålesund - the bus goes along the Romsdalsfjord to Vestnes and then to Ålesund over the rugged Ørskogfjellet. Ålesund is well worth a visit - it's beautifully positioned on many islands and know for Art Nouveau architecture.

Day 3     Alesund
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel Full day roundtrip to Geiranger. Take a 3 hours long trip (each direction) through three fjords - Storfjorden - Synnylvsfjorden and Geirangerfjord. Along the way you will see the waterfalls "The Seven Sisters", "The Suitor" and the “Bridal Veil. As you disembark the catamaran, you will be in the heart of Geiranger, a small village with 220 inhabitants that is located at the end of the Geirangerfjord. You will have 2.5 hours to enjoy the great nature around the village – you can make the Waterfall Walk and enjoy the view on many view points. You can visit the Norwegian Fjord Centre, with its exhibitions covering the geology, natural history and cultural development of unique UNESCO fjord.

Day 4     Alesund - Molde - Kristiansund

This trip takes you from Ålesund to Molde, a charming town beautifully situated by the fjord. The last part of the trip is a half an hour ferry passage. During the ferry crossing you may leave the bus to enjoy the view. Continue taking an hour and half long bus ride from Molde to Kristiansund via Batnfjorden and Frei. Along the route you can enjoy the beautiful mountain and fjord landscape. Kristiansund is Norway’s «cliff fish» town, with rich traditions for bacalao and other cliff fish dishes, that are served in several restaurants in town. From “Varden” you have a splendid view of the town.

Day 5     Kristiansund - Trondheim

Today trip takes you from Kristiansund to Trondheim by sea on an express boat. The boat starts from the center of Kristiansund and takes you to Trondheim express boat terminal centrally in Trondheim.From the boat you can see the coastal landscape of the middle part of Norway. You will see small and large island, local communities and a fascinating “seascape”.Trondheim is Norway’s third largest city and offers many highlights. Very close to the express boat terminal you find for example Rockheim, Norway’s national museum for popular music. There are several other popular museums in the city. The Nidaros cathedral in the city centre is an impressive sight. The history of the cathedral makes it one of the most popular destinations for pilgrims in Europe. By the cathedral you also find the archbishop’s residence.

Day 6     Trondheim - Roros

Today take the first part of Røros train line. Røros is often referred to in Norway as the Mountain City. The city is a 2.5 hour train drive from Trondheim. Røros was founded in 17.st. as a result of large underground copper finds. As one of the oldest and best-preserved wooden towns in Europe, the town and the associated mines were added to UNESCO's cultural heritage list. There are several hundred well-preserved houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, which create a completely unique atmosphere.

Day 7     Roros - Oslo

Today take the train and experience epic nature while travelling through eastern Norway towards Oslo. The area along the Glomma river is the largest wilderness area in Scandinavia. Time to discover Oslo highlights in the afternoon.
