Experience a marvelous cruise through the enchanting waterways of Holland and Belgium during Tulip time! In Holland, you will visit the Tulip fields of Kuekenhof, explore the windmills of Kinderdijk, view the beautiful Inner city harbors of Dordrecht and compare them with Rotterdam, one of the largest harbors and ports in the world!

In Belgium you will tour 3 of Belgium’s best known cities including Antwerp, Brussels and gorgeous Ghent with its famous 3 Tower row, winding canals and gastronomic delights! All aboard our 5* M/S “Bellejour” featuring all outside cabins including 2 decks with full floor to ceiling French Balconies!

Day 1     Amsterdam

Welcome to the Netherlands! Once on board, check in to your cabin and explore your ship before the Evening information meeting followed by dinner. An optional nighttime canal cruise will be available for purchase on board. (estimated cost 25 euro pp)

Day 2     Kinderdijk - Dordrecht

Depart on your morning tour of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its collection 19 authentic windmills. End the tour with a boat ride along the Overwaard canal prior to returning to the ship. Enjoy lunch on board as you set sail for your next stop Dordrecht. Located on an island surrounded by wide rivers, Dordrecht was the county’s earliest trading post. Your guided walking tour will include views of beautiful inner city harbors, quaint canals, wooden bridges and typical Dutch houses. Your tour will end at a local cheese shop where you will gain insight in the process of producing famous Dutch cheeses – including some cheese tasting! Back on board enjoy dinner and sail on.

Day 3     Brussels

Enjoy the passing vista’s as you sail along in the morning. After lunch, your guided city bus and walking tour of Belgium’s capital will highlight all the major attractions including St. Michael’s Cathedral, the Chinese Pavilion, Japanese Tower, King’s Square, Royal Palace and of course the Imposing offices of the European Parliament building. You will end the tour with a walk through the beautiful Grote market. Enjoy some free time before returning to the ship for dinner and overnight.

Day 4     Antwerp

This morning take the tour of Belgium’s second largest city, home to famous painter Pieter Paul Rubens.

The tour will include the cities medieval heart with café filled cobblestone lanes, a riverside fortress and the impressive Cathedral of our Lady. The afternoon is free for exploring on own or partake in the optional Belgian Beer and Chocolate Tour .(estimated price 35 EU per person)

Day 5     Ghent

Today delight in exploring Ghent, Europe’s hidden secret! Exuding an unique mix of ancient cultures and traditions combined with a lively modern student scene, bustling shops and gastronomic restaurants Ghent is will impress you with its winding canals, the famous 3 tower row featuring the Belfry, St. Bravo’s Cathedral and St Nicholas Church, its art and architecture! At the end of the tour you will take a boat ride along the canals while tasting some local Ghent delicacies. The balance of the day is free to explore on your own or take the optional excursion to the fairytale city of Bruges. (Estimated 35 EUR pp)

Day 6     Rotterdam

This morning explore by boat one the world’s largest harbors and ports! Your tour will include the harbor front, the docks and shipyards filled with thousands of containers and the steamship “Rotterdam” once the flagship of Holland America Line. The afternoon is free with an optional tour of Delft, home to the royal house of Orange, the Blue Ceramic factory and Johannes Vermeer. (Estimated price 35 EU pp). Tonight enjoy the Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

With its characteristic canals surrounded by narrow, low and crooked 17th-century houses, Amsterdam is, without a doubt, one of the most charming capital cities in Europe. With a rich cultural life and a wide range of entertainment, Amsterdam is a full-scale city, which has managed to retain its small-town feel. Your morning city tour will include all major highlights including Anne Frank’s House, the marketplace and others. In the afternoon is the highlight you have been waiting for – an excursion to the magnificent Tulip Gardens of Kuekenhof, to view the millions of magnificent bulbs in all their glory!

Day 8     Amsterdam

As all good things must come to an end, after breakfast, bid your crew goodbye and disembark with a suitcase full of memories!
