A beautiful self-drive itinerary through some of Finland's most exquisite countryside. Visit the world renowned Finnish Glassworks and museum in Littala.

Pick up your rental car and drive north via Haemeenlinna to Tampere. Tampere is a city of many cultural attractions. You will stay at the beautiful Scandic Hotel Rosendahl for 2 nights where you can relax, take walks or just drive around the area.

Free time in Tampere. The Tammerkoski rapids, open lakes and Pyynikki park on the world`s highest gravel ridge are prevailing elements in the city scape of Tampere. In the former red tile factory buildings there are nowadays operating museums, restaurants, galleries, culture workshops and technology enterprises. The best place to start a walking tour around the city is Hämeensilta Bridge. The best view over Tampere can be seen from the bridge of Stakunnankatu street.

Overnight at Scandic Hotel Rosendahl.

Drive back to Helsinki. On the way we suggest visiting the well known Finnish Glassworks of Ittala. Visit the Museum and the Glassworks where you may want to do some shopping. Arrive in Helsinki and return your rental car.
