The Grand tour of Greenland starts in Ilulissat - the town of the Icebergs with the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site; Ilulissat Ice Fiord and continue to Nuuk the capital of Greenland with its modern and still traditional life style. Continuing to beautiful South Greenland with the remains and history of the Vikings, the colourful wooden houses surrounded by deep blue fiords where calving glaciers produce icebergs in all shapes and colours.

Ilulissat

Town of the giant icebergs and home of the UNESCO designated Ilulissat Ice Fiord. This is the third largest town in Greenland and a really big city where modern life meets old fashion life style, all surrounded by amazing nature. Here, ice is the main theme; get close to the icy giants covered in the rays of the midnight sun on an amazing Ice Fiord cruise, join a full day boat excursion to the calving glacier: Eqip Sermia or discover the full length of the ice filled Kangia Ice Fiord on a helicopter trip flying in low altitude over the Fiord. You can also visit some of the remote settlements where fishing and hunting still provide for the living.

The Greenland Capital, Nuuk

A modern town in the Arctic, the centre of the Greenlandic administration and the site of the famous Greenland National Museum.

South Greenland

Historic sites from the Viking Age, the Inland Ice Cap, fertile mountains with sheep farms, deep blue fiords with multi-coloured icebergs, calving glaciers - and everything within short range from your hotel.
