Itinerary

Day 1
Visiting: Amsterdam
On Board the M/S Switzerland I
Meals: Dinner
Upon arrival, transfer to the ship on your own. Due to various arrival times, no organised activities are planned until the evening. If you have an early arrival, you may store you baggage on board and use your free time to stroll along the canals as you experience the ambience of this delightful 700-year-old city with its elegant and classic architecture, lively marketplace and exciting nightlife. Tonight, prior to dinner, meet the rest of your fellow passengers for a Welcome meeting with cocktails.
Day 2
Visiting: Amsterdam - Keukenhof
On Board the M/S Switzerland I
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Disembark in the morning for a shore excursion to the famous Keukenhof Gardens where you can see a spectacular display of bulb flowers. Keukenhof also offers several lakes, sculpture gardens, greenhouses, and a windmill to explore. While touring the ship sails on to Utrecht, where you will reboard the boat. In the afternoon sail on to Dordrecht, one of Hollands oldest cities. A walking tour is followed by dinner on board.
Day 3
Visiting: Rotterdam - Veere

Holland is more than just old cities and tulips. Rotterdam is one of the world's most thriving metropolises; a center of commerce, modern architecture and culture. The old and the new are highlighted on the morning sightseeing tour. Set sail in the afternoon to the picturesque village of Verre.
Day 4
Visiting: Veere - Ghent
On Board the M/S Switzerland I

Today, your sightseeing excursion will explore one of the world's most complex engineering projects, the Delta Works, which took over 30 years to complete. Over the centuries the Dutch had an endless struggle against the rising sea tides. Finally this amazing engineering wonder was able to greatly control the flooding.
Day 5
Visiting: Ghent - Brugges
On Board the M/S Switzerland I

This morning finds the ship in Belgium and the city of Ghent. Famous for its textile industry, during the 14th century Ghent rivaled Paris in grandeur and size. The morning is free for you to explore this fascinating city on your own, or take the optional excursion to Brugges, one of Europeâs most perfectly preserved medieval cities.
Day 6
Visiting: Antwerp - Brussels

This morning enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Antwerp, the second-largest Belgian city and one of the world's most important ancient seaports. Visit the Grote Markt with its beautiful city hall and Church of Our Lady and admire the city's superb architecture. In the afternoon, we highly recommend the optional excursion to nearby Brussels, Belgium's capital and also the seat of the EU government.
Day 7
Visiting: Antwerp - Amsterdam

After breakfast set sail along the Dutch countryside. In the afternoon enjoy a panoramic city tour of fascinating Amsterdam. A farewell dinner concludes this wonderful cruise program.
