Geiloâs natural surroundings, terrain and variety of slopes have made it Norwayâs No. 1 winter sports resort. The ski trails in Geilo are of top international standard and cater to all ages and ability levels, from beginner to professional.

This winter experience is exceptional. You can ski down well-prepared slopes in blazing sunshine with a great view over Geilo in the Hallingdal valley.

You can do a boardslide on the rail, and the Volkswagen beetle on the slope is ready for a nose & tail bunk.

Norwayâs coolest half pipe â the Super Pipe at Fugleleiken

With a height of 5.70 metres and length of 150 metres, the new half pipe on Geiloâs sunny side looks huge and formidable.

It is Northern Europeâs largest half pipe, but it is also suitable for beginners.

Cross Country: Geilo offers countless possibilities for cross- country skiers. Here you can find a large network of trails and well-prepared marked tracks. The majestic Hallingskarvet mountain watches over everything and everyone. Round the mountain there are endless kilometres of inviting cross country tracks. Put on your cross-country skis and move silently across the Hardangervidda plateau. Feel yourself gliding. Taste the fresh air. Let yourself be surrounded by tranquillity and nature. Treat yourself to a break. Eat a packed lunch in the sun along the route or stop at one of Geiloâs traditional ski lodges and treat yourself to hot buns and waffles

Downhill; 38 downhill slopes, 20 lifts, 3 snowboard areas. Childrenâs skiing areas.

Geilo has a varied network of well-prepared downhill slopes. They have a high level of safety and allow plenty of space for you and your style of skiing. From November until May you can choose almost all types of slope - steep and wide, long and easy.

Arrive in Oslo and transter to your hotel on your own.

Departure by train from Oslo to Geilo in either the morning or afternoon. Approximately 3.5 hour trip.
