Experience the capital of Iceland - a modern metropol with the amazing nature on its doorstep. A rough landscape in greyish and dark greenish colours. Only 2 hours flying time west of Iceland on the edge of the gigantic Greenland Inland Ice Cap the tiny settlements Kulusuk and Tasiilaq witness the ability of the Eskimo population adjusting to the arctic climate. East Greenland is a great experience of Arctic nature and it is a totally different world to the Metropol of Reykjavik and the Icelandic landscape. The perfect combination.

Itinerary

Day 1
Visiting: Keflavik
Accomodation: Grand Hotel Reykjavik
Upon arrival to Keflavik Airport individual transfer by scheduled Flybus, to your hotel.Overnight at Grand Hotel Reykjavik or similar.
Day 2
Visiting: Reykjavik
Accomodation: Grand Hotel Reykjavik
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning a city sightseeing of Reykjavik including the town of Hafnarfjordur where we briefly visit the Fish Market, the open Air Museum Arbær, one of the outdoor swimming pools and the towering Hallgrim's Church. We also pass through the old town, the harbour, the summit-meeting house Höfdi and the House of Parliament. Afternoon at leisure in Reykjavik. Optional excursion to Blue Lagoon Alternative could be to stay in Reykjavik using one of the many local geothermal swimming pools - A perfect way to meet the locals.
Day 3
Visiting: Reykjavik
Accomodation: Grand Hotel Reykjavik
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Today's excursion is one of the most popular excursions in Iceland: The Golden Circle where we experience the majestic waterfalls at Gullfoss, the erupting hot springs at Geysir, the national park of Thingvellir and the greenhouse village of Hveragerdi.
Day 4
Visiting: Reykjavik - Kulusuk - Tasiilaq
Accomodation: Angmagssalik Hotel
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Air Iceland flight to Kulusuk and further on by Air Greenland helicopter to Tasiilaq. Meet and greet by an Arctic Adventure guide. (Local representative outside high season). Transfer to the nearby Hotel Angmagssalik for check-in and information meeting. Optional excursions during stay in Tasiilaq: • City Walk of Tasiilaq / Ammassalik • Walk to "The Valley of Flowers" • Hike to View Point • "Iceberg Cruise" - boat tour • Boat trip to the Village of Ikateq • Helicopter flight to the Mitivagkat Glacier Operation is depending upon the weather and helicopter capacity. Only to be booked locally!
Day 5
Visiting: Tasiilaq
Accomodation: Angmagssalik Hotel
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. Day at leisure in Tasiilaq for optional excursions.
Day 6
Visiting: Tasiilaq - Kulusuk - Reykjavik
Accomodation: Grand Hotel Reykjavik
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the heliport. Air Greenland helicopter to Kulusuk. Air Iceland flight to Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Reykjavik.
Day 7
Visiting: Reykjavik - Keflavik
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Individual transfer by scheduled Flybus to Keflavik Airport for departure.
