Day 1
Visiting: Helsinki - Porvoo - Imatra
Accomodation: Valtion Hotel
Pick up your rental car and drive east via the Finnish Coast Road towards the Russian border. You may want to stop for lunch in Porvoo, the second oldest town in Finland. Continue driving to your hotel in Imatra.
Day 2
Visiting: Imatra
Accomodation: Valtion Hotel
Meals: Breakfast
It is here that Czar Alexander III had an imperial fishing lodge built and the court of St. Petersburg was provided with salmon caught in the rapids by the czars fishermen. Explore the area today.
Day 3
Visiting: Imatra - Lappeenranta - Helsinki
Today return to Helsinki via Lappeenranta and take the inland road back to Helsinki. You may want to stop in Lahti for lunch before returning your car in Helsinki at the end of the day.
