Arrive in Stockholm on your own and check-in to the Hotel Freys Hotel.
Day 2
Visiting: Stockholm

Stockholm is Sweden's greatest city and has much to offer. One of the best ways to see the city is to take one of the many boat tours. Visit the island of Djurgarden and its beautiful parkland and concentration of fine museums. Vasa Museum, Scandinavia's most visited museum is a must. The Vasa ship, built in the 17th century, sank on its maiden journey right in Stockholm harbor. It was salvaged in 1961 and is now displayed in this museum. A stroll through "Gamla Stan", Stockholm's old town with its narrow cobblestone streets, shops and restaurant is highly recommended. Perhaps a tour to Drottningholm Castle where the royal family lives.
