Day 1
Visiting: Kiev
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess

Arrival in Kiev and transfer your own to the ship for a 4:00 embarkation.

Day 2
Visiting: Kiev

Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is situated on the banks of the rivers Dnieper and Dniestar. The city has recently celebrated its 1000-year anniversary making it one of the oldest cities in this region. With a population of over 2,5 million inhabitants Kiev is the center for business, education and the arts, being home of 18 universities, 7 theaters, and 15 major museums, as well as many significant historical monuments such as "The Golden Port", St. Sofia Church, and the Church of Berestoli, where the founder of Moscow, Jurij Dolgoruki is buried.

Morning city tour: Get to know this historic city during your morning city tour which, among others, features stops at the well-known churches of St. Sofia and mroe.

The remainder of the day is free for you to explore on your own or to join an optional excursion to a Ukranian National Choir Performance.

Day 3
Visiting: Kiev
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Pecherskaya Lavra Caves (tombs). Lunchdinner onboard. and The afternoon is free to explore on your own or enjoy an optional excursion to Pirogovo Open Air Museum. We depart at 10:00 PM

Day 4
Visiting: Kanev
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Your first port of call during your Dnieper cruise is the small city of Kanev. In the morning you will enjoy a walking tour of the city: Your tour features a visit to the birthplace of Taras Shevchenko, Ukraine's famous poet and painter. His achievements in the arts made him a national hero. In the afternoon, there is an optional excursion to Kolhoz - Larm. We depart at 1.30 PM.

Day 5
Visiting: Kremenchug
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Kremencug has evolved into an important industrial city of a half million inhabitants. Today's stop will allow you to meet local Ukrainians in their every day environment. In the morning you will be treated to a walking tour of the city center; Your Tour Directors will take you on a casual stroll through the city center highlighted by buildings reminiscent of Stalin's Soviet era. We depart at 2:00 PM. While at sea you will enjoy a celebration of Ukraine day with wine tasting.

Day 6
Visiting: Zaporozhye
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Zaporozhye is a small town full of historical monuments. It was founded in 1770 with the construction of the Alexander Fortress, which was built on the left bank of the Dnieper, across the island of Hortica. Zaporozhye is also world renown as the home to the Zaporo Cossacks!

After breakfast you will enjoy tour of the town. We depart at 3:00 PM. While sailing, you can enjoy on board lectures and activities or partake in an optional Cossack Show.

Day 7
Visiting: Kherson
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess

Arrive in Kherson, our popular "green station stop" along the Dnieper river. We will take a boat trip along the Dnieper Delta. The ship departs the area a noon and many onboard lectures and activities are offered.

Day 8
Visiting: Sevastopol

Sevastopol is famous in history as the site of the tragic and bloody Crimea War of the 1850's. French, English and Turkish forces attacked the city and the battle was immortalized in both poetry and prose. One of the Russian defenders was young Lev Tolstoy. The city has developed to an important naval port. In the morning, we will have a city tour of Sevastopol: The highlight of your tour is the visit to the Panorama Museum and its unique piece of art entitled the "Panorama of the Sevastopol Battle", featuring a three dimensional circular piece of art representing a 24-hour period in the defense of the city during the Crimean War. It is the world's largest artwork of its kind. The afternoon is free to explore on your own or enjoy an option excursion to Bakhchisaray. In the evening, an optional concert of the Black Sea Ensemble is offered.

Day 9
Visiting: Sevastopol - Yalta
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess

This morning a full day motorcoach tour to Yalta including an inside visit to Livadia Palace. Lunchbox included. We set sail from Sevastopol at 7:00 PM

Day 10
Visiting: Odessa
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

We arrive in Odessa at 2:00 PM and will have a city tour in the afternoon. Your tour leads you to all major attractions such as the Opera House and the famous and unique Potemking Stairs which rise 460 feet from the sea to the upper levels of the city. There will be an option Cultural Performance in the evening.

Day 11
Visiting: Odessa
On Board the M/S Dnieper Princess
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Odessa is a truly beautiful port city with over one million inhabitants. Points of interest include the Museum of Architecture and the Museum of Western & Oriental Art and many more. Today you will have the full day to explore this bustling city on your own. You can choose an optional tour of the Fine Arts Museum in the afternoon. This evening we will enjoy a gala Captain's Farewell Dinner.

Day 12
Visiting: Odessa
