Itinerary

Day 1
Visiting: Helsinki - St. Petersburg
Accomodation: Belveder-Nevsky
Depart Helsinki on the Finnish train Sibelius at 7.23 to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival at 2.05pm, a panoramic city tour including major highlights such as the Admiralty, Palace Square, Smolny Square and more. Overnight at Hotel Belveder Nevsky or similar.
Day 2
Visiting: St. Petersburg
Accomodation: Belveder-Nevsky
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast at hotel. A comprehensive tour of the Hermitage Museum, featuring Old Masters, State Rooms of the Winter Palace and the Impressionists' Exhibition. Lunch on your own, followed by a visit to St. Isaac's Cathedral and a walk to Nevsky Prospekt. An optional canal cruise is available this afternoon.
Day 3
Visiting: St. Petersburg - Helsinki
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Peterhof, a magnificent ensemble on the Gulf of Finland, built in the 18th century as the summer residence of Russian Czars. Enjoy the interiors of the Grand Summer Palace which dominates the beautifuL park with innumerous fountains. Lunch in a traditional Russian style restaurant. Transfer to the railway station for the Sibelius train departing at 4.32pm and arriving in Helsinki at 8.48pm
