Itinerary

Day 1
Visiting: Vilnius
Accomodation: Radisson Sas Astorija Hotel
Arrival in Vilnius. A transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel. 7:00 p.m. welcome meeting at the hotel where you will be greeted by your tour guide. Overnight at Radisson SAS Astorija or similar.
Day 2
Visiting: Vilnius - Druskininkai
Accomodation: Regina Hotel
Meals: Breakfast/Dinner
9:00 a.m. departure for Druskininkai. Stop in the village of Grutas for a visit to Gruto Parkas, an open-air exhibition of the Soviet era sculptures and monuments. Arrival in Druskininkai, check-in at the hotel. City tour of Druskininkai, the oldest health resort in Lithuania. The pride of the town is its mineral springs. In 1794 the king of Poland and Lithuania announced a decree officially designating Druskininkai as a health resort. During a visit to the Health Centre everybody can try mineral bath procedures. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at Regina Hotel or similar.
Day 3
Visiting: Druskininkai - Kaunas
Accomodation: Reval Neris Hotel
Meals: Breakfast
Morning at eisure in Druskininkai. Try a mineral bath or massage to vitalize your mind, body and spirit at the Spa center, (not included). 11.30am, departure for Kaunas, former temporary capital of Lithuania Check in at the hotel. At 3.00pm at city tour of Kaunas including ruins of the Castle, Town Hall Square with its impressive monuments, a visit to the Cathedral, walking along the old town and its original old architecture and the pedestrian Laisves avenue now housing cozy cafes, bars and souvenir shops. Overnight at Reval Hotel Neris or similar.
Day 4
Visiting: Juodkrante - Nida
Accomodation: Nerija Hotel
Meals: Breakfast/Lunch
9.00am departure for Nida. A ferry trip to the Curonian Spit and then drive on to Kopgalis to visit the Sea Museum, located on a 19th century fortress comprising exhibitions of marine nature and history of navigation. Tour in the Neringa National Park on the Curonian Spit separating the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon is an unforgettable trip to the beautiful wild nature with sand dunes, pine forests and golden beaches. Arrival in Juodkrante. Lunch in a restaurant. Visit the Hill of Witches which houses a hundred of fanciful and folksy wooden sculptures scattered along a forest path. Further drive to Nida with short stops at a cormorant and heron colony and at "Dead" sand dunes. Arrival in Nida and overnight at Nerija Hotel or similar.
Days 5 - 6
Visiting: Nida
Accomodation: Nerija Hotel

9.00am a combined coach and walking tour of Nida resort including the Fisherman's House, famous German writer Thomas Mann's House, the Amber Gallery, old ethnographic cemetery, neo-gothic church and a walk along the impressive sand dunes. Leisure time. Nida is an old fishing village on the Curonian Spit washed by the Baltic sea from one side and the Curonian Lagoon from the other side. Today Nida is the largest settlement of the town of Neringa and one of the most beautiful resorts in Lithuania. The ancient fishermens architecture is distinguished by its originality. One can choose from a variety of activities such as water sports and cycling.
Day 7
Visiting: Nida - Vente - Klaipeda
Accomodation: Europa Royale Hotel

11.00am departure by boat from Nida to the Nemunas River Delta Regional Park. En route a stop in Uostadvaris. Visit the lighthouse built in 1876 and the oldest water lifting station in Lithuania, nowadays a Polder Museum. Continue to Kintai settlement passing the Minija village called the Lithuanian Venice, where the River Minija serves as the main street. Lunch at Kintai, tasting local fish dishes. 3.00pm departure to Klaipeda with a stop at Vente Horn. Visit the ornithological station and the 19th century lighthouse which was active for more than 100 years. 5.30pm arrival in Klaipeda. A short city tour of Klaipeda, the main seaport of Lithuania including the Theatre Square and Old Town. Check in at Europa Royale Hotel or similar.
Day 8
Visiting: Palanga - Klaipeda
Accomodation: Europa Royale Hotel

9.00am a city tour of Klaipeda, the main seaport of Lithuania including the Theatre Square and Old Town. 11.30am departure for Palanga, the biggest seaside resort of Lithunia. City tour including the visit to the Botanical Garden and Amber Musuem in the Palace of Count Tyszkiewicz with over 25,000 pieces of amber and 15,000 inclusions of insects on display. 5.30 pm return to Klaipeda.
Day 9
Visiting: Klaipeda - Siauliai - Riga

9.00am departure by coach to Riga, the capital of Latvia. A stop at the Hill of Crosses, the unforgettable place with thousands of crosses on two small hills. Continue to Riga with a stop in Rundale. A visit to Rundale Palace from the 18th century, a beautiful late baroque palace in Latvia. It is a splendid example of the early work of the famous Italian architect, F.B. Rastrelli. Arrival in Riga and check in at the hotel. Overnight at Radisson SAS Daugava or similar.
Day 10
Visiting: Riga
Accomodation: Radisson Sas Daugava

9:00 a.m. a city tour of Riga, visiting medieval Hanseatic town, Riga castle, St. Peters Church, Dome Cathedral, the Old Guild Houses. Lunch at a restaurant in the city center. Afternoon excursion to Open Air Museum.
Day 11
Visiting: Riga - Parnu - Tallinn
Accomodation: Meriton Grand Hotel

9:00 a.m. departure for Tallinn with a stop in Pärnu, Estonian Summer Capital. This little town is known as a health resort since the first spa opened here in the 1830s. Further drive to Tallinn. Arrival in Tallinn, check-in at Meriton Grand Hotel or similar.

9:00 a.m. a city tour of Tallinn, visiting the Old Town of Tallinn - an example of Gothic architecture in the Baltic and Nordic countries. The tour includes Toompea Castle fortifications, the Dome Church (13th century), the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevskij (19th century), Town Hall Square (15th century), the Old Guild, St.Olafs Church. Lunch at a restaurant in the city center. Afternoon excursion to Kadriorg Park and visit to Kadriorg Palace.
Day 13
Visiting: Tallinn - Tartu - Sigulda
Accomodation: Sigulda Hotel

9:00 a.m. departure for Sigulda. Stopover in Tartu, the second largest town in Estonia. 12:00pm. a city tour of Tartu, including Tartu University, Toome Hill Park with its monuments, sculptures bridges and ruins of gothic church, panoramic view of the town with Jaani Church and Town Hall Square. A further drive to Sigulda (Latvia). Short stop in a small ancient town of Cesis for a walk in Castle Park. Arrival in Sigulda, check-in at Sigulda Hotel or similar.
Day 14
Visiting: Sigulda - Vilnius

9:00 a.m. short walk in Gauja National Park, including visit to Turaida Castle and the ruins of the 13th century Crusader Castle in Sigulda. A further drive to Vilnius. Arrival in Vilnius check in at Radisson SAS Astorija or similar.
Day 15

9:00 a.m. a ci­ty tour of Vil­nius, ca­pi­tal of Lit­hu­a­nia for mo­re than 600 years. The tour inc­lu­des: St.Pe­ter and Pauls Church, Cat­hed­ral Squ­a­re, St.Ann and Ber­nar­di­nes Church, the Ga­tes of Dawn with a ho­ly ima­ge of the Vir­gin Ma­ry, Rus­sian Ort­ho­dox Church of the Ho­ly Spi­rit, Town Hall Squ­a­re and Vil­nius Uni­ver­si­ty (foun­ded in 1579) with St.Johns Church. Lunch at a restaurant in the city center. Afternoon trip to Trakai, the former capital of Lithuania. A visit to the insular castle of the 14th century, erected on a small island in the Lake Galve. Return to Vilnius at 6pm.
Day 16
Visiting: Vilnius
After breakfast at the hotel, a transfer to the airport is included.
