From Gallivare the route continues onwards to Narvik in Norway, a very scenic train/bus ride through national parks and through Norways precipitous fjords. From Narvik the journey continues with bus to Harstad where you meet the gateway to the breathtaking and very beautiful Lofoten, mountains surrounded by the dark waters of the fjords. From Harstad start the Hurtigruten cruise liner, past narrow straits and fjords, along Norway's majestic and fascinating coastline.
