Long mired in local and international conflicts, these two countries are enjoying a new found peace. With its French colonial ambience, cosmopolitan cities, contrasted with rural rice paddies, wonderful beaches and a young and vibrant population, Vietnam is quickly becoming the most popular travel destination in Asia. Combined with the pristine, unspoiled nature of the Cambodian delta, the historic temples of Angor Wat and the friendly, smiling people many of whom have never seen a foreign visitor, our Mekong cruises will enthrall all who are explorers at heart.

Cruising the Mekong Delta

The Mekong River and Delta is a formidable waterway, long thought to be impossible to navigate due to tremendous fluctuations in water levels and seasonal flooding, However, with tenacity and modern engineering, ultra-shallow draft, small barge-like passenger vessels have been created to allow tourists to explore this fascinating region of the world. We are proud to announce a brand new deluxe ship, the RV INDOCHINE.

A maximum of 48 passengers will travel in comfortable, air conditioned outside cabins on this ship of colonial splendor. A wonderful, smiling crew of 26 Vietnamese and Cambodians are supported by a European Chef and English speaking Cruise Manager. Full buffet breakfasts and lunches, with accents on local and exotic fruits and vegetable, are complemented with a fully served, sitdown dinner. On board and on shore, local guides will tell you about village life and the sights you will see. This is a truly magnificent way to explore a new and exciting destination!
