Day 1     Helsinki - St. Petersburg
Accommodation: Dostoevsky Hotel

After boarding the Allegro train from Helsinki to St. Petersburg in the morning you can enjoy the Southern Finland landscape passing by. Upon arrival in the "Venice of the North", the orientation tour takes you to the Admiralty, St. Isaac's Cathedral, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Palace Square and Smolny Convent. The architects of the city gave colors an essential role in their plans and this magnificent Russian city owes much of its special atmosphere to these painted facades.

Day 2     St. Petersburg
Accommodation: Dostoevsky Hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. Today a comprehensive tour of the Hermitage Museum featuring Old Masters and State Rooms of the Winter Palace.

Day 3     St. Petersburg
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. Today an excursion to Peterhof Palace, a magnificent ensemble of the Gulf of Finland, built in the 18th century as the summer residence of the Russian tsars

 
Day 4     St. Petersburg - Helsinki
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel

Today an excursion to Yusupov Palace where the most dramatic episode of the historiy of Russia took place, the murder of Grigory Rasputin.

Transfer to the train station in the afternoon.

Departure by train at 3.30pm for Helsinki. Arrival Helsinki in the early evening.
