This program is a perfect alternative to a stay in Reykjavik with daily excursions. The itinerary offers a tour of South West Iceland including the main attractions. An overnight stay in the countryside affords unique opportunities to experience the northern lights as well as bathing in the famous spas.

Included in the program are the most famous highlights of South Iceland:

- The National Park of Thingvellir, a historic site through centuries and a masterpiece of nature with a scenic lake and rifts, which mark where the continental plates of Europe & America meet.

- The majestic waterfall Gullfoss.

- The Geysir area with erupting hot springs.

- Reykjavik, the Capital of Iceland which is a blend of the past and the modern world. You will find all facilities of a metropol as well as the warm friendliness of a small town.

Prices quoted reflect stay in three-star hotel in Reykjavik. Other 3-star options include Fosshotel Baron, Hotel Loftiedir, and Radisson SAS Island.

Itinerary

You will be picked up at the airport for transfer to your hotel near the beautiful Northern Lights Inn.

Morning time to visit the Blue Lagoon. Entrance fee included.

Noon pick up by English speaking driver guide and via Reykjavik to the National Park of Thingvellir, the majestic waterfall Gullfoss and the famous Geysir area with erupting hot springs. The tour is terminating in Selfoss.

Day at leisure in Selfoss. Early evening pick up at Hotel Selfoss and transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik.

Dinner at Restaurant Reykjavik in the city center including entrance to their famous Ice Bar with a drink.

Overnight at Grand Hotel Reykjavik or similar.

Individual transfer by 'Flybus' to Keflavik Airport. 'Flybus' depart from your hotel - please inform the reception the day before leaving.
