Room Info

Hotel Opera welcomes you!

Among the linden trees on a peaceful side street to Kongens Nytorv lies the 3 star Hotel Opera whose neighbours include the Royal Theatre and the vibrant Nyhavn.

Hotel Opera is just a 2 minute walk from busses and the metro and all the shopping possibilities on the pedestrian street, Strget. In the hotel\'s entrance, guests are welcomed by the Little Mermaid in the form of one of the sculptures used as model for the original sculpture found on the Langelinie harbour front.

Hotel Opera was built in 1869, when it functioned as a boarding house until it was redesigned as a hotel in the classic English style in 1950. The perfect location of the hotel next to the Royal Theatre is highlighted inside with pictures of the actors who have resided at the hotel over the years. There are also thematic halls with photographs of current actors, as well as photography dedicated to music and the ballet.

The hotel\'s 91 stylish rooms are individually and classically decorated, and the hotel is characterized by a charming and calm atmosphere, not least in our cosy lobby bar, where drinks are served around the clock.
