Guesthouse Vihula

Vihula - A Picturesque Manor Complex in Virumaa County

The manor was established in the 15th century in Northern Estonia on the banks of Mustoja River. There are 25 buildings from different times. Light-colored buildings, mostly in classical style, are surrounded by a landscape park. You may get a romantic feeling seeing the reflection of all that on the river surface.

Location

Vihula Guesthouse is situated in Lääne-Virumaa County in the north-eastern corner of Lahemaa National Park, 91 km from Tallinn. It is 6 km from here to Sagadi manor and 14 km to Palmse manor.

The majority of 31 buildings date from the 19th century. A scenic river and the Glint (North Estonian limestone bank) have influenced the planning process of the buildings. The oldest building is the Tagamõis (Back Manor) where you will find the guesthouse. It was built in the second half of the 18th century. During the restoration old and new were connected and so our guests can enjoy old time romantic feeling with modern conveniences.
