Gimo

Gimo Herrgård Hotel is situated deep in the forests of Northern Roslagen, north of Stockholm. It was the first manor house built in the Gustavian style, designed by architect Jean Eric Rehn in the 1760s, a monument to the heyday of the Uppland ironworks.

It is situated at the end of an impressive drive, by a beautiful pond surrounded by 250 year-old elms and lime trees. We warmly welcome all those who enjoy the good things in life and would like to do so in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

Our first-class cuisine is based on the use of local ingredients in tune with the seasons. And we blend this with a variety of European influences to produce dishes of the highest order. We serve a three-course table dhôte menu daily, as well as a la carte. And browsing through our wine-list gives ample opportunity to enhance your evening's dining.

There are many activities available including mini-golf, boule, clay-pigeon shooting, wine-tastings, beach, sauna, rowing, canoeing, 4 golf courses within 30 km, cycling and walking . The Walloon ironworks industrial heritage sites (Österby, Forsmark, Strömsholm, Leufsta), the Roslagen coast, Gräsö island, Öregrund, Dannemora mine, and Uppsala are all nearby.
