The hotel was established in 1891 and timber-built from the beginning. Is renovated with focus in preserve the old specific character to bring the hotel abreast of modern requirements to first quality and comfort. There are a great deal of tradition, soul and atmosphere in the old logged walls of timber.

Fefor Høifjellshotel has gone through an extensive rebuilding in 2004 and stands today as a modern high mountain hotel with good facilities both inside and outside.

At Fefor Høifjellshotel we bring focus into nature- and culture based activities the limit for this lie direct outside the hotel windows with a great nature and a rich manifold culture in the neighbouring.

Location

Fefor Høifjellshotell stands on south and exposed to the sun 930 metre above sea level, 13 kilometres on good roads from E6 at Vinstra in Gudbrandsdalen. It has a magnificent location on the bank of the Fefor lake and has a view towards the glittering mountain peaks of Jotunheimen.

In the Spring of 2004 96 of the rooms were totally renovated and appears today with a very high standard.

The rooms have the most outstanding of Norwegian furniture and textile which fit into the traditions of the hotel.

All rooms have bath/shower/toilet/radio/TV with a choice of channels/telephone.
