Lansmansgarden, or Ulfsby Herrgard to give it its more correct name, is a well-preserved listed building from the era of the great manor houses of Varmland. Its first owner is named in the public records from 1540. This is a charming and welcoming hotel in an authentic Varmland manor house style. Lansmansgarden has been in the same family since 1914. There are many activities available including a golf course, bathing, rowing boats, canoeing, fishing, and cycles for hire. Boat trips are availalbe from olur own jetty. The major ski resort, Ski Sunne, is close by, as are the many significant historic and cultural sights of this legendary district. There is excellent walking in the area.
