Ilulissat

Town of the giant icebergs and home of the UNESCO designated Ilulissat Ice Fiord. This is the third largest town in Greenland and a really big city where modern life meets old fashion life style, all surrounded by amazing nature. Here, ice is the main theme; get close to the icy giants covered in the rays of the midnight sun on an amazing Ice Fiord cruise, join a full day boat excursion to the calving glacier; Eqip Sermia. You can also visit some of the remote settlements where fishing and hunting still provide for the living.

Air Iceland afternoon flight from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Ilulissat.

Meet and greet by Arctic Adventure guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, information meeting including details for the upcoming ship voyage and guided city walk. Optional excursions during stay in Ilulissat.
