Ilulissat

The town of the Icebergs and the most modern town in the Disko Bay area – still man is outnumbered by the huskies and traces of 4000 years old inuit settlements are still to be found. Small and isolated settlements where the local population is still dependent on hunting and fishing are to be found close to the town - not to forget the UNESCO designated Ilulissat Ice Fiord and its gigantic icebergs.

Itinerary

Air Iceland flight from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Narsarsuaq.

Transfer from the airport to the pier and by boat through Eric's Fiord to Qaqortoq. Meet and greet by an Arctic Adventure guide.

Transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Information and welcome meeting followed by short city tour of Qaqortoq.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Day at leisure in Qaqortoq for optional excursions.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the heliport and with Air Greenland helicopter and continuing flight from Narsarsuaq to Nuuk. Combined transfer and short city sight seeing before terminating at the hotel for check-in.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport. Air Greenland flight from Nuuk to Ilulissat. Transfer to the hotel for check-in, information meeting and guided City walk. Dinner at the hotel.
