It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards head to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. Spend evening and night at Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe.

The first will be at the family owned Zlokic Olive Oil Factory and Museum where the hosts will show you various methods of olive oil production from the past to the present, followed by a tasting of the various olive oil categories. Then continue to the village of Blato to visit an authentic Ethno House built at the start of the 20th century and where you will see furniture, cooking utensils, and family photos from over 100 years ago. Your final stop will be at the family owned Toreta winery in Smokvica where you will have a chance to taste a variety of Croatia’s world renowned wines, prosciutto and home-made cheese. Return to Vela Luka and enjoy a relaxing evening at one of the local restaurants or café’s lining the harbor
