Gulla describes her design in CenterHotel Thingholt as modern, yet classic, where natural materials and colors are used. There are for example leather tiles on floors and salmon fish skin tiles on walls in the lobby. On the left hand side when entering the hotel there's a long black wall with lava like texture. Attached to it are black masks representing the hidden people of Iceland and a small waterfall trickling down over them. Soon there will be even more art to enjoy. Future plans for the hotel involve Icelandic women artists making a piece for each room so that every room will be unique.
