Arrive Oslo and self transfer to your hotel for overnight. Thon Hotel Opera or similar

Travel by public bus from Oslo to Loen, arriving early evening after a brief stopover in Stryn.

This beautiful area is home to magnificent Jostedal Glacier National Park and the Briksdal Glacier. The majestic glacier descends 1200m to the lush, narrow Briksdal Valley. Enjoy a mid-morning excursion to the glacier by Trollcar.

Depart Loen by public bus, for an early afternoon arrival in Bergen.

Explore Bergen on your own. Take a tour of the Hanseatic Wharf, the centuries old German trading station that has made Bergen´s architecture so famous, or the bustling fish market.

Travel to Norheimsund by bus for a fjord cruise to Lofthus. Stroll around this quiet orchard town, or climb one of the spectacular trails that go up to the Nosi viewpoint, 1000m above sea level. Fjord view room at the hotel!

Today you can join an optional morning fjord cruise to Eidfjord, to visit the Hardangervidda Nature Centre. Learn more about the interaction between humans and nature in this area, journeying past spectacular fjords, mountains and waterfalls. In the afternoon, travel up from Lofthus up into Måbødalen valley, with views of the breathtaking Vøringsfossen waterfall (182m).

Morning departure by bus for Voss – change bus and continue from Voss to Gudvangen and a fjord cruise to Flåm, to commence the ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ rail journey with dramatic views along the way. After arrival at the mountain top, late train to Oslo for evening arrival and an overnight. Thon Hotel Opera or similar
