Visit the second longest fjord in Norway, the Hardangerfjord, the queen among the fjords of Norway. Discover the Flåm Railway - an incredible train journey from the mountain station at Myrdal on the Bergen Railway, down to Flåm station nestled in the innermost corner of the Aurlandfjord. Each year, this exciting stretch of railway attracts people from all corners of the world, making the Flåm Railway one of Norway's major and most spectacular tourist attractions.

Day 1     Oslo
Accommodation: Thon Hotel Opera

Arrive Oslo and transfer on your own to hotel

The capital of Norway is one of Europe’s fastest-growing cities. International media is constantly writing about Oslo’s innovative architecture, museums, and neighborhoods, as well as everything that moves on the food, fashion, art, and music scenes. Over the last few years, several new quarters have been established in the city center, with exciting new activities and attractions. The high-rise buildings in Barcode and captivating landmarks like the Opera House and the Astrup Fearnley museum are changing the face of the city, and have now been accompanied by the new Munch Museum. The new National Museum opened in June 2022.

Day 2     Oslo - Myrdal - Flam - Lofthus
Accommodation: Ullensvang Hotel
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Train from Oslo to Myrdal with departure from Oslo S Centralstation in the morning. This is the Bergen Line, on of the most scenic train ride of the world. Get off at Myrdal and change train to the Flam railway. The train will stop a couple of times for photo taking.

The Flåm Railway has been named one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, and is one of the leading tourist attractions in Norway. The train runs from the end of Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, up to the high mountains at Myrdal station. The journey displays the very best aspects of Western Norway`s stunning scenery.Arrive Flåm and walk down to the pier for boat to Gudvangen – be on board at least 20 minutes prior to departure.

Cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen

The boat sails out the Aurlandsfjord and into the Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest fjord in Europe. The Nærøyfjord is included on UNESCO's famous World Heritage List. Surrounded by towering mountains up to 1,800 metres high,this branch of the Sognefjord is amazingly beautiful. On the journey, you have excellent views of small traditional farms. If you are lucky, you will see goats grazing right beside the fjord and seals basking on rocks before the boat

moors at Gudvangen. Arrive Gudvangen and walk up the pier for bus departure to Voss. Bus from Gudvangen to Voss

Arrive Voss and meet up with your private transfer from Voss to Lofthus – look for driver with name sign “ --- “

Drive to Lofthus through Hardanger and check in to your hotel, located by the shore of the Hardangerfjord, the queen of fjords.

Check in for dinner and breakfast at Hotel Ullensvang.

Breakfast at the hotel & Day at leisure! Plenty of hiking options available! Or maybe go on a Kayak tour – perhaps just relax in the Ullensvang Bath / Wellness area

Day 4     Lofthus - Bergen
Accommodation: Zander K Hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you cruise on the Hardangerfjord to Norheimsund in the afternoon where you board a bus heading for Bergen.
