Itinerary

When arriving at Keflavik Airport your rental car awaits. Follow the main road towards Reykjavík and across Hellisheidi plateau to the greenhouse village Hveragerdi, and from there onwards to your selected hotel.

Drive onwards along the south shore, viewing Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. Visit the impressive black beaches below Mýrdalsjokull glacier and the charming village of Vík.

Continue to the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring area. Afterwards, drive to Thingvellir National Park, former site of the Icelandic parliament. The park it self is situated on the Mid Atlantic Rift in a stunning volcanic landscape of mountains and lava flows. It is a good idea to end the tour by driving to the famous Blue Lagoon before heading to Reykjavík.

After breakfast, drive back to the airport where you will return your car.
