Free Day & Delicious Christmas Buffet

The day is yours to relax, either get out into the beautiful winter countryside on sightseeing or set off scouting for interesting museums and art galleries scattered around the city.

We highly recommend a visit to the National Museum of Iceland that has a special Christmas exhibition, opening mid of December.

A visit to Iceland during the advent is not complete without tasting the specialties of the season, so tonight you will be treated to a delicious Christmas buffet at one of the classic restaurants in the city center, namely Lakjarbrekka. Christmas buffets originated in Denmark, but the Icelanders have taken the idea even further to make a sumptuous feast with emphasis on Iceland's fresh and tasty seafood, lamb, game and turkey.
