Sognefjord Bergen Norway

Enjoy a relaxing sightseeing cruise that will take you through some of the most scenic parts of the Fjords. You will pass waterfalls, steep mountainsides and small picturesque communities. We sail between idyllic skerries and small islands on the majestic "King of the Fjords", the Sognefjord.

Itinerary

Arrival to Bergen and transfer to hotel on your own. A complimentary light buffet is served in the evening.

Overnight at Clarion Hotel Havnekontoret or similar.

Our boat will be at Dreggekaien, the pier just opposite of Radisson SAS Royal Hotel and a few feet from your hotel.. Check in on board from 8.30- 9.00 AM. We will sail from Bergen and 9:00 AM and head northwards.

At approx. 1.00 PM a nice lunch will be served en route.

At approx. 4.00 PM we arrive at the remote settlement of Finnafjord, set in delightful surroundings. A short visit and refreshments served ashore. We will stay at the farm for approx. 1 hour.

The trip continues passed Balestrand up the fjord to Leikanger, the administrative center and one of the largest fruit-growing communities in the county of Sogn og Fjordane. Our estimated time of arrival Leikanger is 6.30 PM.

Overnight at Leikanger Fjord Hotel or Sognefjord Hotel both nice family hotels offering a personal touch. Dinner in the evening

Departure at 8.30 AM. We sail further up the Sognefjord and along the beautiful, narrow Nærøyfjord, now on UNESCOs World Heriage List. . Visit ashore at the tiny settlement of Styvi at 10:00 AM where you will be given a guided visit of the farm.

After this visit the cruise continues along the Nærøyfjord almost to Gudvangen before you return and head towards idyllic Undredal where there will be time to take a look around and visit the little church. A visit at the local shop is a must! Arrival Undredal at 11.30 AM and departure at 1.45 PM.

Lunch will be served in Undredal.

The cruise continues along the Aurlandsfjord to Flåm. In Flåm we will board the famous Flåmsbanen train to Myrdal change trains at Myrdal and continue to Bergen. Arrival in Bergen at apprx. 5.52 PM. A complimentary light buffet is served in the evening.
