Itinerary

Arrival in Moscow, private car transfer to Hotel Marrriott Grand Tverskaya**** or similar, check-in; welcome meeting and welcome dinner at hotel. The evening offers a Moscow by night tour including an unforgettable river cruise with the White Flotilla, with magnificent firework in honor of International Workers’ Day.

Moscow, The Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its onion domed cathedrals. The dramatic changes over the last decade have made the city to one of the most dynamic metropolis in the world. The morning sightseeing tour includes all the highlights of the vast city: the Red Square with Kremlin, the Theatre Square with Bolshoi Theatre, Sparrow Hills with Moscow University and a visit to the famous Moscow Metro. In the afternoon we will have a tour visit to the Cathedral of St. Vasily the Blessed with opportunity to listen to spiritual singing performed by the members of the Doros Male Choir. Evening is free to explore all the activities in city centre, dedicated to International Workers Day.

The guided morning tour will take us to L. Tolstoy Khamovniki Memorial Estate - one of the oldest Russian literary museums. Leo Tolstoy lived and worked in this house with his family during 18 winters, from 1882 to 1901. The exposition of Tolstoy house represents 16 rooms including hall, big living room, Tolstoy`s cabinet, dining room, children room, class &etc. where Tolstoy lived with original furniture and things of that old good time. Afternoon is a visit to Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery, where you will be able to see words famous monumental sculptures, such as: a 5-meter high statue of Vladimir Putin posing in judo gear, also paintings, sculptures, drawings, enamel panels and bronze miniatures. Of special interest is the master’s unique series of bronze high relief portraits of celebrated figures of Russian culture of the 20th century entitled “My Contemporaries”.
