Itinerary

Arrive Stockholm. Transfer on your own to the downtown hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will depart on a regular audio city tour by bus (1 hr and 15 minutes tour, several daily departures). During the tour you will pass by the most famous buildings in Stockholm, including the Royal Palace, the City Hall, the Parliament Building, the island of Djurgården and the Old Town (Gamla Stan), with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antique shops. During the tour, a stop will be made by the observation point at Fjällgatan, if traffic permitting. After the sightseeing leave Stockholm by boat from Stadshusbron for Drottningholm (entrance) - the royal residence (opening hours every day 10.00 – 16.30 but will close for public entrance without notice in case of special arrangements). Awaiting you is the pearl of Lake Mälaren - the Drottningholm Palace. Built in the late 17th century, Drottningholm Palace is the residence of Sweden’s Royal Family, but sections of the Palace are open to the public as are the surrounding landscaped gardens. Included in the entrance is one hour guided tour, (starting at 14:00 and 16:00). After the tour take the boat back to the city.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer on your own to the Central Station for a morning departure to Växjö (change of train in Alvest). Your Kingdom of Crystal guide will meet you upon arrival in Växjö. Transfer to your hotel and proceed on a sightseeing tour in Växjö.

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel,

enjoy a full day guided excursion. Visit the House of

Emigration in Växjö; the Museum of Småland (Glass)

and the Kronobergs Castle Ruins. This afternoon transfer to the train station. Depart by train from Växjö to Kalmar. Transfer upon arrival to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day guided tour of the famous Kingdom of Crystal including Kosta, Orrefors and Målerås. Lunch at Orrefors Inn or Kosta Inn.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today enjoy guided visits to the Kalmar Cathedral, Kalmar Castle and the Art Museum. Rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the train station and train to Copenhagen. Upon arrival at Copenhagen main train station, transfer on your own to your hotel

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, depart on a regular audio city tour by bus (11⁄2 hr tour, departures at 09:30, 11:30 and 13:30) during which you will see the Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace (seat of the Danish Parliament), Hans Christian Andersen’s statue, Gefion Fountain, the old harbour of Nyhavn, the famous Little Mermaid and many other popular sights. After the tour, take a walk along the pedestrian street “Strøget” to the picturesque Nyhavn canal. From here, you will depart on a canal tour, regular departure with onboard English speaking guide, of apr. 1 hour (up to 6 departures per hour from 09:30 until 18:00 beginning June – mid June or 20:00 mid June-August). This is your chance to see Copenhagen from the “other side”. This tour takes you through the harbour and the idyllic canals of Copenhagen. From the on-board-guide, you will receive information about the most beautiful churches, castles, the picturesque old houses and some of the architecturally interesting new buildings and other exceptional sights of Copenhagen.
