Highlights of Helsinki & Tallinn Tour

5 Days / 3 locations in Finland and Estonia

The tour combines the Finnish and Estonian capitals, two pearls of the Baltic Sea, with the captivating countryside that lies around Helsinki. Your home for four nights will be a centrally located hotel in Helsinki, decorated in modern Scandinavian style. The tour includes three guided excursions featuring Tallin, Helsinki and the historic city of Porvoo.

A trendy, pulsating metropolis, yet a compact city with a welcoming atmosphere, Helsinki is an ideal destination to explore on your own. All major downtown attractions, shopping areas and museums can be easily reached on foot. The city offers a combination of stunning architectural styles ranging from Neo Classical to twentieth-century Finnish Modernism. Boat trips to the islands that lie off the shoreline are a popular pastime among the locals and provide a superb view of the elegant city skyline from the sea.

Tallinn, one of the oldest cities on the Baltic Sea, lies across the Gulf of Finland, just 50 miles to the south. Winding cobblestone streets, massive city walls and mighty towers bear witness to the citys medieval past. Truly a living museum, the Old Town captures the feeling of the medieval era like no other place in the world.

Rich in historical sights, the Southern-Finnish countryside offers fascinating insight into Finlands past. The region is home to some elegant manor houses, picturesque ironworks villages, old greystone churches, and enchanting small towns with wooden houses.
