Itinerary

Departure from Helsinki to Tallinn by express ferry and transfer to your hotel. After arrival, a guided walking tour of the Old Town with its cobblestone streets, city walls and towers. Tallinn is truly a living museum of medieval architecture. Lunch will be enjoyed in a traditional Esonian restaurant. The afternoon is free to discover the city on your own.

After breakfast, transfer to the bus station for a noon departure to Riga. After transfer to your hotel, you will have time to explore the city. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour in the charming Old Town to see the highlights of Riga including Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Large and Small Guild Houses, the Powder Tower and the Freedom monument. Be ready for a long walk! Lunch will be provided in a typical Latvian restaurant. The afternoon is free to discover the city on your own. There will be a late evening transfer to the railway station for your overnight train to St. Petersburg.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Here you will join the Imperial St. Petersburg Tour. You will meet your tour guide and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant followed by a panoramic city tour. Overnight at central Hotel Kristoff, Brothers Karamazov, Hotel Novotel or modern Renaissance St. Petersburg Baltic Hotel. Your local guide can suggest evening activities, performances or shows.

After breakfast, experience a a comprehensive visit to the Hermitage Museum, and its remarkable art collection. Following lunch at a local restaurant, a visit to St. Isaac's Cathedral is planned. This is the largest cathedral in St. Petersburg and one of the finest architectural monuments of the 19th century. Evening free.

Visit the famous Palace area, Pushkin outside of St. Petersburg and tour Catherine's Palace. It is considered a pearl of Russian Baroque architecture and a must for history lovers. Lunch will be in traditional Russian style today. Transfer to the 4:32pm Finnish train to Helsinki. Arrive in the evening at 8:48 pm.
