Day 1     Tirana

Arrive Tirana, Tuesday

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Then your time is free to exploring. Tonight, gather for a Welcome Dinner at the hotel. (D) Overnight at Rogner Hotel or similar.

 
Day 2     Tirana
Meals: Breakfast

Tirana, Wednesday

On a morning sightseeing tour, see Skanderbeg Square; the Mosque of Et’hem Bey; the Clock Tower; the statue of G.K. Skanderbeg, Albania’s national hero; the Palace of Culture, built with Soviet assistance; and the National History Museum, with a mosaic on its facade portraying Albanian history. Your afternoon is free to wander through the city at your own pace, shop, or relax. (B)

Day 3     Kolasin
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Kolasin, Thursday

After breakfast, depart Tirana and travel to the town of Shkodra, a cultural center and one of Albania’s oldest cities. Drive by the ruins of Rozafa Castle, set on a hill high above the city, then cross the border into Montenegro. Visit to Moraca Monastery the largest medieval Orthodox monument in Montenegro built in 1252. Continue to Kolasin, the whole area is surrounded by the thick pine forest of the Bjelasica Mountain and is a popular skiing and air spa resort. Dinner and overnight in Kolasin. Day 4     Kolasin
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch

Kolasin, Friday

Today trip to National Park Durmitor, Zabljak and River Tara canyon the deepest canyon in Europe. Lunch at local restaurant. Also visit today Biogradsko Lake maybe “the most romantic lake” located in the center of Biogradska Mountain. Overnight. (B, L) Overnight at the hotel.

 
Day 5     Dubrovnik
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner

Dubrovnik, Saturday

Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, and Cetinje, the historical capital of the country, are on your agenda today. Stop and visit the Cetinje Museum, with its fine displays on the history of Montenegro. Then, drive down a dramatically steep road to the Bay of Kotor, the deepest fjord in Southern Europe. Cross into Croatia head to Dubrovnik, set on the Adriatic Sea. (B, D) Overnight at Lacroma Hotel or similar.

 
Day 6     Dubrovnik
Meals: Breakfast

Dubrovnik, Sunday

This morning, a walking tour shows you Old Dubrovnik. See the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column, Sponza Palace, Dominican Monastery, and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the city your way, browse through the shops, stroll along the coast, or simply relax. (B) Overnight.

 
Day 7     Dubrovnik

Depart Dubrovnik, Monday

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
